Check out the First Real Image of the Samsung Galaxy S8 – To Be Released March 29

Evan Nelson Blass, once known solely by his pen name @evleaks, is an American blogger, editor, and phone leaker. Guess what… He just did the whole tech world a huge favour of relieving their agitation and thirst for the Galaxy S8 by leaking the first ever real and genuine picture/image of what the Galaxy S8 will look like. See image below;

Looking carefully at the image, it is not much of a difference from any other Samsung device out there in the market. It kinda sports the “signature” Samsung smartphone look. Looking at the image again, a glass and curved front and back can be seen. There is also the single speaker grills present on the device’s bottom which upon closer look can be seen to be unique and different.

However, since the displays have been reported to have an 18.5:9 aspect ratio in place of the standard 16:9, taller screens, not wider bodies are expected. Also f particular interest is the absence of the physical home button which have brought about speculations that Samsung might place the fingerprint reader on the back of the device.

And yeah! The headphone jack is present on the device! Apparently, rumours of Samsung abolishing the headphone jack on the S8 holds no water. The charging port is of the USB Type-C make. Additional specs from VentureBeat include a Snapdragon 835 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of Storage, 12MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, and a 3000mAh battery for the 5.8-inch device or a 3500mAh battery for the 6.2-inch device (Remember it was rumoured that the S8 would come in two variants).
While we await the March 29 release date, tell us what you think about this device – the design, hardware, OS etc.
