Glo Unveils 4G Network In Nigeria, Now in 9 different Cities

Globacom Nigeria have launhed 4G LTE plan. I've been expecting this move by Glo to win the 4G market, pretty soon other like Etisalat will follow suit and come out of the shadow with 4G LTE.   Though the 4G is only available is 9 cities for now but they are working on covering more. These cities includes Lagos, Abuja, PH, Jos, Yola, Zaria, Benin, Warri, Eket.

Dial *777# and select 4G LTE coverage, to check if the Glo 4G is live in your city.

If you are located in any of these cities, you can go swap your old Glo SIM for a 4G SIM card. You will also need a compatible 4G LTE smartphone, tablet or mifi/modem. Subscribe to any Glo HSI data plans and you’re good to go.
