The Etisalat company recently reviewed the price of its data plans, and like you must have figured out, it isn’t favorable to a lot of Nigerians considering the current economic crisis.
Well, I have one advice for the telecommunication giant and that is, they should brace for the most rampant ‘porting spree’ they’ve ever witnessed. I am very sure a lot of Nigerians would be porting with full alacrity to the grandmasters of data, Glo.
Glo has positioned themselves as the leading telecom company in terms of data. You want large amount of data for a cheap and affordable amount, then try Glo.
BEFORE NOW, BELOW WAS ETISALAT’s DATA PLAN WITH PRICES…
1.5GB for N1000, dial *229*2*7#
3.5GB for N2,000 dial *229*2*8#
5GB for N6,500dial *229*2*3#
8GB for N8000dial *229*2*5#
10GB for N10,000 dial *229*2*5#
BUT PRESENTLY, HERE ARE THE PLANS AND PRICES…
1GB for N1000
1.5GB for N1200
1GB 500MB night plan for N1000
2.5GB for N2000
3.5GB for N2500
2GB 1.5GB night plan N2000
Well, we all know the country is in recession – maybe Etisalat is too, I wouldn’t know – but this is surely not the right move if you want to continue to be industry leaders. What’s your take on this guys?
